Obituary for Aubrey Lea Darling
Aubrey Lea Darling passed away August 20, 2020 in Thornton, Colorado. Aubrey was born September 18, 1983 and grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She attended Northern State University of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Metropolitan State University of Denver, Colorado where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and Psychology. After graduation from MSU of Denver she worked for the Department of Denver Juvenile and Family Integrated TASK Project for the State of Colorado.
Aubrey loved spending time with her family and many friends, especially taking her two beloved children Kamden and Azure hiking along with their dog Duke on beautiful Colorado trails. Aubrey loved to travel and took many trips with her family and friends. While in high school she enjoyed many sports but mostly basketball - working hard while on a traveling basketball team.
Her lessons in love, independence, perseverance, confidence and wisdom will live forever in the hearts of her loved ones. Aubrey is survived by her children, Kamden and Azure of Colorado; her parents, Paul and Sylvia Darling of Aberdeen, South Dakota; sisters, Bryana of Aberdeen, South Dakota and Caylin of Mentor, Minnesota. Aubrey had many aunts, uncles and cousins, a nephew and so many friends.
A Celebration of Life was held in one of Aubrey's favorite hiking places by the families that love her so very much. Our hearts are broken but we know she is with her Lord in the Kindom of Heaven.
