Balente Milan, Jr.
June 6, 1947 – August 15, 2016
Balente Milan, Jr. was born June 6, 1947 to the late Valente and Lupe Milan in Ft. Lupton, CO. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Master’s Degree in Spanish at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Balente is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth Browning-Milan and from his previous marriage to Stella Milan, their 3 children: Daniel Fernandez, wife Tina Fernandez; Anthony Fernandez, wife Lynn Fernandez; Dede Maestas, husband Jerry Maestas. Balente was blessed with 13 grand-children and 10 great grand-children. Balente was also survived by 2 brothers, 13 sisters and he was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Balente was very loving, gentle, and patient. Balente loved helping everyone and would drop everything to help someone in need. Balente’s passions were his deep love of God, spending time with family and friends, gardening and exercising.
Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Dr., Northglenn, CO 80233 on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:30am.
