Obituary for Betty June Inamasu
Betty June Inamasu (87) of Aurora, CO passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. She passed peacefully at The Denver Hospice from side effects of a debilitating stroke.
Betty, a widow, is survived by her Daughter, Lynn Hamon from San Diego, CA; her Son and Daughter in Law, Glenn and Bonnie Sugiura of Hollister, Ca. Betty also has two grand-children, Grace and Alex Sugiura. Her sisters, Virginia Ito of Oceanside, CA, Pearl and Ed Ortner of Shelby Township, MI. Shirley (and son, Lloyd) Carlson of Auke Bay, Alaska. Florence Naylor of Grand Junction, CO.
Betty was an accomplished floral designer and was the owner of Hana Basket. She traveled to Japan to study the Japanese art of Ikebana floral design. She also worked for United Airlines in the Food Service department and retired after 10 years. Betty maintained many of her neighbors' yards well into her early 80's.
