Obituary for Cody William Childerston
Cody William Childerston, 22, of Thornton, passed away February 5, 2016, as a result of an unfortunate accident. He was born September 19, 1993 in Denver, Colorado to Charlie and Glenda (Campbell) Childerston. He graduated from Skyview High School in 2012, QB of the Wolverines, and was attending Colorado State University majoring in Construction Management.
Cody was preceded in death by his father Charlie. He is survived by his mother Glenda, maternal grandparents, John and Anne Holman, and Glen Campbell, and paternal grandparents, Dale and Barb Childerston, Two step-sisters, brother- in- law, and niece & nephew. Cody is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends, amounting to a quantity too large to list, who will continue to cherish his love for life and all the people in it.
Cody avidly pursued sports, some with more success than others, and always remained dedicated to the team. He was always surrounded by his many friends, each of whom considered him their own best friend because of his warm and sociable nature. He displayed endless love and devotion to his family, most of all to his mom #RealestWhiteWomanYoullEverMeet (actual Twitter quote), Glenda. Cody himself summarized it best: “Even if I go, my name will forever stay alive and live through the ones I love.”
