Daris Calvin Brannon Born December 5, 1939 Ponce de Leon, Florida Died May 15, 2012 Commerce City, Colorado Calvin was preceded in death by his Father, William Franklin Brannon, his Mother, Erein Ammons Brannon, his beloved wife of 38 years, Katherine Ann (Hilliard) Brannon, his Sister, Mary (Brannon) Rice, and many other loved ones. Calvin is survived in death by his five children Tammy Anderson (Scott) – Commerce City, Colorado, Brenda Weiman (Dean) – Parker Colorado, Steve Brannon (Erica) – Thornton, Colorado, Rick Brannon – Blanchard, Oklahoma and Pam Boswell (Harold) – Lindsay Oklahoma. Calvin’s is survived by his Brother William Brannon (Oma Lou) – Homosassa, Florida, his Sister Mavis Stargell (Willie) – Longview, Texas, his Sister Martha Greiser (Alan) – Naturita, Colorado, his Brother Frank Brannon (Emelda) – Commerce City, Colorado, his sister Esther Porter (Jack) – Commerce City, Colorado, his Sister Lois Brannon Allen (Lynn) – Portland, Oregon. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews survive him. Calvin is survived in death by eleven grandchildren – Jeffrey Brannon (Jackie), Ana Lopez, Brooke Weiman, Riley Weiman, Kenna Brannon, Kayla Brannon, Jaxson Brannon, Wesley Brown, Tania Haynes, Amy Jo Brannon and Brian Brannon. He is also survived by six great grandchildren. Calvin was in the Army for 4 years. He was in Route Sales until he retired in 2001 and went into Security and worked at La Favorita Tortillas for the last several years. Calvin was surrounded by an abundance of love from his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Heartland Hospice was a lifesaver in the care of Calvin and his family is deeply grateful to have had them during this difficult time.
