Obituary for Delbert Gene Schilz
Delbert grew up in the Culbertson and McCook, Nebraska area. He graduated from Culbertson High School and entered the United States Navy on April 10, 1946 in San Diego, California. Delbert served in WWII and was Honorably Discharged on February 6, 1948 as a Yeoman 3rd class. He married Beverly Casper on November 10, 1946 at Oberlin, Kansas. They made their home in McCook where Delbert was a brick mason. In 1961 the couple moved to Denver, Colorado. Delbert was preceded in death by his wife Beverly on April 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 26th, 1 p.m., at Dewitt and Tabler Chapel, 12114 Grant Circle, Thornton, Colorado. Graveside services will be at the Riverview Cemetery in McCook, Nebraska at 11 a.m., Friday, October 27th.
