Obituary for Don D. Stanelle
Don D. Stanelle, 72 of Westminster Colorado passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Tuesday June 9th 2015 Don is survived by his wife Sherry, Son Jeff (Rhonda) Stanelle, daughters Debi (Kevin) Iliff and Keri (Shane) Wells, grandchildren Justin Machovsky, Summer Stanelle, Taylor Iliff, Jeffery Stanelle, Tanner Iliff, sister Betty Liederbach and brother Butch Stanelle of Milwaukee Wisconsin, as well as many nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives. Don was born on December 25th, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Reuben and Arlene Stanelle. On April 25, 1964 Don married Sherry Ann Rosner in Forrest Junction, Wisconsin. Don was a true family man and dedicated, loving husband for 51 years. He spent many of his weekends with his wife, children and grandchildren enjoying competitive games, generating unforgettable memories of laughter and fun times. He was always the life of the party. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed creative woodworking and playing golf, often times only keeping score by how many balls he lost, which was just another example of his unforgettable sense of humor. Don never hesitated to run to the aide of anyone in need as was very selfless with his time and know how. Don was truly one of a kind and touched the lives of so many people with his kindness and wisdom. A Celebration of Dons life will be held on Monday the 15th of June at One O’clock in the afternoon at DeWitt & Tabler Chapel 12114 Grant Circle Thornton, Colorado 80241 Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Don’s name at www.st.jude.org
