Obituary for Donald Terrance (Terry) Vegas
Donald Terrance Vegas, known as “Terry” was 56 years of age when he passed away on June 23, 2012. He is survived by his two children; Thomas and Maria, granddaughter; Olive, stepfather; George Mondragon, siblings; James Vegas, Lorraine Romero, Linda Abeyta, Ron Vegas, Michelle Scott and Martin Mondragon. He is preceded in death by his father; Herman Vegas, mother; Louise Mondragon, brothers; Thomas Vegas and Michael Vegas. Terry was Uncle “T” to many nieces and nephews and held a special place with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Terry was a friend to everyone he met and had a heart of gold. His smile and laugh were contagious and he brought comfort to those around him. His occupations ranged from banking to home renovation services, but his real passion was working with disabled adults which he did for many years. His time with us was cut way too short when God called him home but he will be with us always in mind and heart and loved eternally. Visitation to be Sunday July 1, 4-6pm at DeWitt & Tabler Chapel, in Thornton, CO. Funeral Mass, Monday July 2, 11:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, followed by a Graveside Service at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements made by DeWitt & Tabler Funeral Home.
