Obituary for Doris Jean Wright
Doris Jean Wright went home to the Lord on May 30, 2012. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 2, 1942 to Roscoe Simmons and Martha Knox. She moved to Denver from Springfield, Missouri in 1980. Doris worked as a security guard for various companies until she retired. She then was a much adored apartment manager until the end. Doris was a mother and grandmother to all who knew her. She was truly an Angel. She would help anyone with anything who asked. So many people depended on her for her advice (she didn't hold her tongue), knowledge and just to lean on. She is truly missed by those who survive her; her son, Charles (Stephanie) Wright of Grand Junction, CO, grandchildren, Shauntiel Wright and CHarles Bonner both of Denver, CO and Rashika Watson of Oklahoma City, OK, sister, Helen Johnson, mother, Martha Johnson both from Oklahoma City, OK, eight great-grandchildren and a best friend who was more like a sister, Sandy Estelle of Denver, CO. She was welcomed to Heaven by her son Marc Watson, sisters, Emma McGee and Carol Johnson and her nephew Milton McGee. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Doris Wright's name to St. Jude's Chidlren's Hospital. Services to be held at a later time. SHE IS FOREVER LOVED.
