Obituary for Francis Amitrano
Frank Amitrano December 31, 1945–January 16, 2024
Francis Amitrano, 78, of Denver, CO, died at home on January 16, 2024.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1945 to Louis Andrew Amitrano and Angelia Amitrano (Pallela), and grew up in Queens, Bayside NY with his brothers Andrew Amitrano and Gerard Amitrano. At the young age of 21 he enlisted in the United States Airforce in June 1966 and served 4 years being honorably discharged June 1972.
Right after his active duty he started with the Denver Police department in June 1972, serving the Denver public for 31 years and retiring February 2003. Throughout his career he obtained and received so many achievements that there are too many to list. He was one of the best!
Frank was preceded in death by Suzanne Helen Amitrano his wife and is survived by his children,
Louis (Andy) Andrew Amitrano and Marlena Marie Amitrano. He was a grandfather to Jordyn Elizabeth Amitrano and Leyah Nicole Amitrano.
Celebration of life is February 26th, 2024, at 10am- Redemption Hills Church 7462 S Everett St, Littleton, CO.
