Obituary for Gary Thompson
Gary Haughton Thompson was born in Long Beach, California on March 25, 1935 to Paul and Thelma Thompson. He went to be with the Lord Jesus on May 29, 2023, at Longmont United Hospital, in Longmont, Colorado. He was 88 years old.
He is survived by his children: Matt Thompson, his wife, Anji, and their children Azariah and Hadassah; Brian and his wife, Kimberly, and their children Emma, Noah (who preceded "Bumpa" in death in 2000); Gabriel, Samuel, Aaron, Hope, Micah, Eden, Simon, Claire and Gideon; and daughter Joanie and her husband Andrew Boness, and their children Anna and Julia; his brother, Michael Carey and his wife, Susan, and their adult children and grandchildren; and a host of other beloved family, church Family, and dear friends.
His eternal life in Christ will be celebrated at Purpose Church (9993 WCR 11 Firestone, CO 80504) on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
