Obituary for James Edward Acierno
James Edward Acierno, “Bubba”
A celebration of the life of James will be held on Friday, July 27th, 10 am at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland Colorado. While we think it is important to honor James’ courage and strength over his sixteen month battle with cancer, we think he would want it known that he was sassy and full of life. He was stubborn and would tell you exactly what he thought with no regrets. He taught us how to laugh way down deep from our guts, straight from our souls. Life was meant to be full of laughter and not the fake kind you don’t mean. He had a deep love for his friends and family. There was absolutely nothing that meant more to James than his family. He was kind and compassionate, hard headed and sarcastic but most of all he loved passionately and was loved deeply by so many.
James is preceded in death by his Grandpa Jimmy and it is a comfort to his family to know they are watching over their family. We know they are catching up and telling exaggerated stories we will have to correct when we see them again. He is survived by his wife, his love, Hannah; his beloved parents Rob (Ginger) and Lori (Lee); his brother Timothy, sister Alyssa, nephew Tyler; Grandma Judy, Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Ed; and an overwhelming amount of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers we simply ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend or grab a lightsaber and have an epic battle full of laughter with someone. Time waits for no one.
Donations can be sent to the family via Go Fund Me: “In Memory of James Acierno”.
