Passed away March 19th 2017
Janice was born June 8th of 1936 in Hamilton, Montana to Jasper and Beulah Burgess
She retired from USWest with over 30 years of service in both international and local service sectors. Janice loved to travel, take pictures, paint and always was up for a good steak dinner.
Janice is survived by her two daughters Sherri Whalen and Patty Teague, her two sons Rick Hickerson and Dan Addington, her grandchildren Nikki Cribbs, Alexandra Martinez, Robert Heumann, Zac Hickerson, Gina Kretoski, Fallon Kretoski, Toren Hickerson, Samantha Kretoski, her greatgrandchildren Kenna and Sadie Cribbs, Taylor Hickerson, Bradley Hickerson, Aedric Addington and her brother Larry Burgess and sister Doris Martin.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Kevin Mark Book Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at DeWitt and Tabler chapel at 12114 Grant Circle Thornton, Colorado at 11:00am Tuesday March 28, 2017
A reception in Janice's honor will be held immediately following the service at Carl Park Community Center located at 5401 Meade Street, Denver 80221.
In lieu of sending flowers, a memorial gift can be made in Janice Whalen’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado at 455 Sherman Street, Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203
