Jean B Origer passed away on April 30, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Eugenia Belle (Peton) Origer was born on December 3, 1933, in Dolliver, Iowa, daughter of Theodore and Elizabeth Peton. The youngest of four daughters, Jean was predeceased by sisters Doris and Joan.
Jean is survived by her husband of 66 years, Mark (Mick) Origer of Thornton, sister Fern Ruppel of Parker, Colorado, sons Steven Origer of Thornton, and Scott (Nancy) Origer of Akron, Ohio, and daughters Lisa (John) Suggs of Thornton, Colorado and Susan Henry of Lakewood, Colorado.
Jean also greatly enjoyed nine Grandchildren, seven Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great- (affectionately known as “Extra Great”) Grandson. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
Jean worked at Village Inn for over 30 years. Among favorite hobbies and pastimes was Hand and Foot cards with friends, and she loved coffee at any time! Jean’s favorite vacation was visiting Cozumel in 2002.
Funeral arrangements are through Dewitt and Tabler Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
