Obituary for Jeanne Lynn Clark
Jeanne Lynn Clark went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 26, 2017.
Jeanne was born on May 3, 1968 in Hialeah, FL, near Miami. The youngest of 5 siblings, Jeanne picked up the activities of the family very quickly, learning to water ski at the age of 3. Jeanne would never really leave the water, as water activities became so much a part of her recreational life. The family moved to Tennessee, and while engaging in those water activities, Jeanne met Doug Clark. Like Jeanne, Doug loved the water, and it was clear, a match had been made in heaven. Doug and Jeanne married in August 25, 1991.
After a few relocations Doug and Jeanne moved to Colorado from Florida in 1995. Jeanne took employment at Amgen Pharmaceuticals in the IT department, eventually transitioning to Qualcomm. Jeanne left the workforce to be a stay-at-home mother, when Jesse Nathan was born on July 6, 2005. Jesse’s sister Ciara Jeanne arrived on July 15, 2009.
Many of Jeanne’s friendships developed because of her service and love for God’s people. Some of the primary gifts that Jesus Christ gave to Jeanne to use for the Church were the gifts of mercy, music, administration, and service. As Jeanne exercised these gifts, the body of Christ was loved, strengthened, and encouraged. Not only did Jeanne serve the church with her gifts, but she loved on people with her wonderful cooking. It didn’t take long for a relationship with Jeanne to result in enjoying Jeanne’s talents in the kitchen.
Because Doug and Jeanne desired to homeschool Jesse and Ciara, Doug was best suited to stay at home and teach the children, while Jeanne went back to the workforce. At the request of a friend, Jeanne took a position at Timberline Mechanical Systems, a mechanical contractor in the Boulder and surrounding areas. It was while Jeanne was on her way to work that her Heavenly Father took her home to be with Him.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Art Kraft and father-in-law Bill Clark. Jeanne is survived by her husband Douglas Clark, son Jesse and daughter Ciara, her mother Wilma Kraft of Frederick, CO, mother-in-law Dottie Clark of Ooltewah, TN, her siblings Debbie Pugliese of Loveland, CO, Karen Schutt of Niceville, FL, Arthur Kraft of Frederick, CO and Jeff Kraft of Cleveland, TN, brother-in-law Steve Clark of Athens, TN and other in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.

A memorial service and funeral is scheduled for Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 3pm at Crossroads Church in Thornton. It is Doug’s desire that anyone wishing to give gifts, send those gifts to either Mission Aviation Fellowship or Wycliffe Bible Translators. If it is desired to send flowers, please send them to Dewitt and Tabler Funeral Directors LLC, 12114 Grant Circle Thornton CO 80241.
