Obituary for John Horvath
Aurora, Colo. Died January 8, 2015 after suffering a long illness. John was born to Stephen J. Horvath and Rose Mary Arendt/Horvath in Angelus, Kansas April 15, 1936. Preceding him in death were His Mother and Father and brother, Stephen J. Horvath Jr., and his brother in law, Albert Griffiths Jr. John is survived by sisters, Rose Mary Griffiths of Denver, Mary Ann Miller her husband Donald W. Miller, their sons Gary Miller of Denver And Dale and Allison Miller and their daughters, Danielle and Nicole of Danville, Ca. Sister Theresa Wilson, her Husband Ronald K. Wilson of Fresno, Ca. and their children and grandchildren, Michelle and Joseph Irwin, Thomas and Nancy Wilson and their children Kira and Wren of Kingsburg, Ca. and Brad and Wendy Karp and their daughter Anastasia of Tracy, Ca. John is also survived by his long and dear friend and companion, Georgia Van Horn. He was very close to her large family and especially Her Great Grandchildren, twins Gabe and Eve Lasley whom he knew from birth. John was a Vietnam war veteran, serving three tours as a corpsman. His military career spanned 28 years all over the Pacific and United States. John will be remembered by his long, white beard and his twinkly blue eyes. Chief Petty Officer John Horvath will be laid to rest at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, May 15, 2015, 9:00AM.
