Obituary for Joshua Thomas Lino Turner
Joshua Thomas Lino Turner passed away suddenly on February 4, 2017. Â He was 25.
Josh was born on March 14, 1991 in Greenock, Scotland to his parents Thomas Turner and Andrea Anglo. Â While in Scotland, Joshua was a passionate fan of Glasgow Celtic Football Club and of football (soccer) at all levels. He loved to watch and play the sport from a young age which led him to pursue a career in coaching. He began his coaching experience in 2009 with Broomhill Boys Club and eventually went on to obtain his Scottish Football Association coaching licenses, something he was extremely proud of.Â
He immigrated to the United States in 2014 after which Josh was successful in several soccer coaching roles with teams including Colorado Rapids, Broomfield Soccer Club, Soccer Shots and Challenger Sports. Â He spent time working to build his own business, Celtic Soccer Club Colorado. Even on his days off he found great enjoyment in spending time in the backyard coaching his brothers, sister and cousins.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Andrea; his father, Thomas; his step father, Lawrie; his step mother, Carolanne; his brother, Wee Lawrie; his sister, Eva; his brother, Lino and his sister; Stephanie; his grandparents Lino and Margaret, and Thomas and Sheila.
A viewing will take place 11am-1pm, at De Witt & Tabler, 12114 Grant Circle Thornton 80241 on Tuesday February 14th, Followed by A Memorial service .All are welcome to attend and celebrate Josh's life.
The reception will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, 11385 Grant Dr
