Obituary for June Loree Jordan
June Loree Jordan, 74, of Thornton, Colorado passed away September 20, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born in Cozad, Nebraska, November 30, 1940 to Ed Mewis and Marjorie Ingraham. June married Robert (Bob) S. Jordan on January 12, 1963.
June had many talents including stock car racing in her early years, oil painting, cooking, and canning pickles and jelly (which she was known as the pickle lady for). She enjoyed camping, fishing, crafting, spending time with family and friends, and telling jokes. June was a feisty, loving, strong and fun loving person. She was a dedicated and truly inspirational wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
June is survived by her husband Bob, her two children Timothy and Scott. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Sara, Robert and Della; as well as two great grandchildren Wyatt and Brantley.
June will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held October 2, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at DeWitt and Tabler, 12114 Grant Circle, Thornton, CO 80241.
