Obituary for Kelly Cooper
On August 23rd 2010 Kelly peacefully entered heaven from his home with his family by his side. After battling cancer for 2 yrs. he fought courageously until the end. Above all Kelly was a loving husband, father, son and brother.
Born on April 6, 1959 in Montebello, CA, Kelly graduated from Broomfield High School in 1978 where he excelled in sports. Kelly met and married his high school sweetheart Maureen McCarthy and enjoyed 27 years of marriage. Out of this union they had 3 beautiful daughters Kali, Cassi and Tori.
One of Kellys passions was his long career at Tarco Inc. where he excelled to Operations Manager. From the time Kelly was a small boy he had ants in his pants never wasting a minute of time. Kelly loved to play softball, boating and camping, branding and hunting at Coberly Creek Ranch, The 4th of July pig roasts, and was a true sportsman in all arenas.
Kelly was involved with his community in the early 80s as a volunteer fireman for West Adams Fire Department. Also with his family he was very involved with 4-H, raising and showing swine at the Adams County Fair.
Kelly was a magnetic personality with joy, laughter and brilliance on everyone and everything he touched. He was widely known and respected by many and will be immensely missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father Ray O. Cooper of Broomfield. Kelly is survived by his wife Maureen, children Kali (Matt), Cassi and Tori: as well as mother Janis Cooper Faris, sister Gayle Jostes(Mark), brothers Mark Cooper (Krisann), Rick Cooper(Sherri) as well as his nieces and nephews Jeff, Eric, Dayna, Brady, Courtney and Hannah.

A memorial celebration of Kellys life will be held on Monday August 30th at 1:00pm at The Event Center at Church Ranch 10200 Wadsworth Blvd. Westminster CO 80021.
