Obituary for Kendra Yvonne Ferguson
Kendra, 28, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 3, 2014. She was born to Carol and Kenneth Ferguson of Thornton, CO on November 10,1985. Kendra went to Skyview High School and graduated in 2004. She married Dave on September 8, 2013 and has two wonderful sons Hunter, born August 19, 2010 and Travis, born March 26, 2012. When she was younger she was into gymnastics and in high school she was on the cheerleading team. She had worked at Terumo BCT from 2011 to 2013 and Securitas Security Services from 2006-2011. But Kendra had found her calling in life when she became a loving stay at-home mom to handsome Hunter and adorable Travis. She often said to everyone, 'I love being a mom who gets to stay home!' Kendra is survived by her husband Dave Thompson and her two handsome sons, Hunter Ryan Thompson and Travis David Thompson. She is also survived by her parents, Carol and Kenneth Ferguson; her brother, Steven Ferguson; sisters-in-law, Felicia Ferguson and Nickole Thompson; brother-in-law, Josh Thompson; mother and father-in-law, Teresa and Ralph Martinez; nephew and niece, Christopher and Rebecca Ferguson. Also her grandmother, Mary Lou Ferguson is still with us. She also leaves several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Carl and Theresa Heronema who recently passed in October at age 99; her grandfather, Raymond Ferguson and step-grandfather, John. Kendra wished to be cremated. Memorials and contributions may be given to the family--her husband, David and sons, Hunter & Travis in memory of Kendra.
