Obituary for Margaret G Meekins
Margaret G. Meekins, 84, of East Greenbush, NY passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the home of her son, Colin Meekins in Thornton, Colorado while being cared for
by her son and his wife Cynthia during her battle with cancer. Maggie, as she was known to her friends and family, came to the United States from London, England.
Maggie worked for DeHavilland Aircraft Manufacture Company when she lived in England. When she came to the United States, she was a home maker. When Maggie went back to
work, she worked for Friendly's restaurant, and later worked at the Resurrection Home until she retired. Before her illness at age 79, she moved to Colorado to live with her son, Colin
and his wife Cynthia. She is survived by her son, and his wife, three sisters Jean, Rose and Lillian who live in London, England. Grandchildren Brendon Geary and Dana Geary, along with
two great grandchildren Donye and Cameron. Maggie was a loving and caring person and was loved and adored by everyone who knew her. She will be missed greatly by all those who
knew her as, the funny little English lady. God Bless and God Speed.
