In Loving Memory of Margaret Mary “Peg” Rowe
Margaret Mary “Peg” Rowe passed away on April 14, 2025, in Thornton, Colorado, at the age of 75. She was born on July 16, 1949, in Aurora, Illinois, to her beloved parents, the late Richard James Rowe and Corinne Cecelia Rowe, (nee Millen).
She is survived by her five siblings, Kathleen (James) Gepner, Diane Rowe, Richard (Paula) Rowe, Thomas (Sheila) Rowe, and Jean (Steven) Hartman. Her lifelong companion, Lillie M. Potts, “Madge,” cared for Peg throughout her sickness and until her dying day. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends and neighbors.
Peg was originally employed at AT&T Western Electric in Illinois. She eventually transferred to Colorado, where she worked as a Master
Scheduler. She retired in 1998.
Her ‘hobby’ and passion was for tennis. She coached and mentored young women in the Denver area. She was generous about sharing
her skill with newcomers and colleagues alike. Her unfailing belief in her Catholic faith was evident in all that she accomplished. She was known in her parish for volunteering in many ways. She is missed and her life was an inspiration to all who knew her.
A Memorial Mass was held on May 15, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Thornton, Colorado.
Donations in her name may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation.
