Obituary for Mary Kay Augustine
Mary Catherine “Mary Kay” Augustine , of Northglenn, Colorado, passed away from lung cancer. She was 70 years old. Mary Kay died in her home in Northglenn, Colorado on Thursday April 7th in the loving company of her family. Born on August 16 1945 in Hays, Kansas, Mary Kay was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary Kay was retired, but she had worked for the City Of Northglenn and the Radisson Hotel in Thornton, CO. Mary Kay married Glen Augustine 52 years ago on January 11th, 1964 and had two children Brad and Linda. Mary Kay was blessed with 6 grandchildren that she adored. She was devoted to her family, the strong matriarch. Over the last 25 years Mary Kay cooked dinner every Saturday night for her entire family, allowing her to see her grandchildren grow into strong and confident adults. Mary Kay loved to stay active and spend time with her friends. Even during her times of trying health, Mary Kay remained true to her person, putting her family and friends ahead of her own needs.

Service Details

Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Northglenn, CO on April 20th at 11:30. A dinner will be held immediately following the mass in the Church Nexus at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mary Kay will be buried at Mount Olivet on Thursday April 21st at 10:30.
