Obituary for Miguel Alcalan
Miguel Alcalan was born in Jalisco Mexico on 4/28/1950. He came to the United States in 1972 and married Julia Griego in 1974 Miguel was a hard working man who worked in construction and provided well for his family. He enjoyed yard work, listening to music and being around his family. He is of 5 siblings; Daniel, Jose, Maria, Roselia (deceased) and Martin, he adored them all. Held a very close relationship with his brothers. He is survived by his wife Julia Alacalan and 4 kids; Jeff (Veronica), Jamie (Ramon), Roselle and Consuelo. A total of 13 grandkids and 3 great grandkids. Miguel was a fighter, fought his sickness with all he could but in the end could no longer tolerate. Miguel was called home on Monday November 10, 2014 and is now resting in peace looking down on his family as their guardian angel. One we will hold dearly in hearts for always. Visitation will be from 5PM to 8PM Thursday, at DeWitt and Tabler Funeral Home, 12114 Grant Circle, Thornton, Colorado 80241. Rosary at 7PM. Funeral Service will be held 11AM, Friday at the funeral home. Interment to follow services in Arvada Cemetery, Arvada, Colorado.
