Obituary for Mitzi Marie Means-Balerio
Mitzi Marie Means – Balerio was born at Cheyenne River Agency Hospital in White Horse, South Dakota on January 19, 1948 to loving parents Rod and Alsace Means and entered into eternal life at the age of 69 on August 25, 2017 while at North Suburban Hospital.

After her high school days at Adams City High School, Mitzi continued her education at both South Dakota School Of Mines and Fort Yates Community College.

She became a nurse working at various long-term care facilities providing to her patients excellent health care with a wonderful touch of love and compassion.

In her time away from work, you could find her enjoying the outdoors camping and or swimming as well as on a Friday evening participating in a Bowling league.

She was a good cook enjoying roast beef and green chili while possibly at the same time listening to Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard sing a tune or two.

Proceeding Mitzi in death are her parents: Rod and Alsace Means and one brother: Rod Means Jr.

Surviving her in life are her former husband: Joe Greenemeier, Two Siblings: Kim Means and Judy Means, also Three Children: LeRoy Greenemeier, Stanley Greenemeier, and Mike Greenemeier, plus 6 Grandchildren: Joe, Ashley, John, Christina, Anthony, and Nicole, as well as 17 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by a former husband Felix Balerio.

Not only her family but her friends as well will miss Mitzi greatly.

Memorial Services will be 4:00PM Friday, September 15, at DeWitt and Tabler Funeral Home Chapel, 12114 Grant Circle, Thornton, Colorado 80241.
