Obituary for Pete Flores
58, of Milliken, CO passed away on December 3, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 8, 2013 at Dewitt and Tabler Funeral Home at 12114 Grant Circle in Thornton, Colorado. Father Marty Hunckler will officiate the memorial service and Esther Velasquez will lead in a rosary. Pete Flores was born in Raton, NM on June 30, 1955, to the late Jose and Natividad Flores. He attended and graduated from Aguilar High School in Aguilar, Colorado. Pete was a devoted father and an adoring papa who enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grand children. He was a fun-spirited and light-hearted man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping as he explored the great outdoors and spending time with his close friends. He was preceded in death by parents - Jose and Natividad Flores, and siblings - Jose (Lupe) Saldivar, John Flores, and Pauline Martinez. His two children, son, Kevin Flores, daughter, Dawn Flores-Densmore and her husband Mark Densmore, two grandchildren, Elise and Edward Densmore and his girlfriend - Deanna Johnston, survive him. Surviving siblings include brothers Joe and Emma Flores, and David Flores; sisters, Frances Gallegos, Alice Sawaya, Linda Flores, and Louise Guilliano, numerous nieces and nephews, and the rest of his relatives and friends.
