Polly is survived by her son, Timothy O’Connell, his wife Stephanie, daughter, April O’Connell and Fiancé’ Bradly Lundy. Also, in remembrance is her late daughter Sue Follett. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Savanna Grose, Emma O’Connell, Thomas O’Connell and 1 great grandchild Ashlynn Tafoya.
Polly was born in Battle Creek Michigan on September 28, 1942. In the late 1940’s her family moved to Colorado. She was extremely talented and very active in dance, skating and social events with her family and friends. She got married to Tom O’Connell in the 1960’s and they had 3 children.
Unfortunately, early on in her adult life she was diagnosed with several medical conditions. These conditions restricted her from doing several things that most people would take for granted. But, she lived her life with grace, faith, strength, lots of love and forgiveness towards all.
Polly was an especially kind person, very thoughtful, extremely generous, strong willed, non-judgmental, funny, and a fun loving person. She enjoyed the simple things in life. A beautiful sunny day, a joke, a hug, or even a new lipstick made her day. She would have given the shirt off her back in a snowstorm to anyone, if they needed it.
She always had a complement for you or an “I Love You!” (Her 3 favorite words)
She loved her children more than anything in the world. And we love her..
She will be deeply missed… WE LOVE YOU MOM xoxo
