Obituary for Robert "Bear" Browning
Robert "Bear" Browning, of Denver, CO, died peacefully on April 12th, 2016 at the age of 50.
Robert was born on December 18th, 1965, in Denver, CO, to John and Helen Browning. He graduated from Mapleton High School in 1984. Robert had many skills and received many certificates, including: Airframe and Power Plant, Blueprint Reading, Carpentry, Welding and Automotive Painting. He was an entrepreneur in many different forms and created several successful businesses. Robert had many hobbies, including automotive painting and mechanics, carpentry, metal working, welding and woodworking. He was also an artist of various mediums including wood, metal, photography and drawing.
Robert was married for 20 years to his high school sweetheart, Sheila Browning, and fathered three beautiful children. He was in a relationship with Candy Sandoval for the last 6 years of his life.
Robert was a kind, thoughtful person and a devoted friend. He would drop everything if someone was in need of help. His children remember him as a friendly, loving, loyal and strong father who encouraged them to pursue their goals and experience life to its fullest.
Robert is survived by his children, Vanessa Campos (Browning), Taylor Browning and Mark Browning; grandchildren, Israel Campos-Browning and Keila Campos-Browning; son-in-law, Israel Campos; sisters, Desiree Moore (Browning), Elizabeth Browning-Milan, Deborah Ramos (Browning); ex-wife, Sheila Browning (Brethauer); multiple nieces and nephews, an extensive family and many friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, John Browning; mother, Helen C. Browning (Trujillo) from Roy, New Mexico; and nephew Dylan Moore of Denver, CO.
Robert chose to be cremated and the disposition of his ashes will be determined at a later date by his children.
All services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233.
The rosary will be at 7pm, Thursday, April 21st, 2016
The funeral mass will be at 11am on Friday, April 22nd, 2016
A reception will follow the mass in the church reception hall.
