Obituary for Ronald Brothers
Ron Brothers was born October 21, 1933 in Cripple Creek, CO to George and Mary Jane Brothers. He is survived by a sister, Joan (Frank).  When he was still a child the family moved to Denver. He played sports in high school, attending North High School and St. Francis.  He married Judy Bagnall in 1955 and had 4 children, Michelle, Victoria, Matthew (Jayme) andStephen (Angie).   He worked in the construction equipment industry for the majority of his career, retiring  in 2005.  He loved playing golf and did a lot of golfing and traveling later in life.He married Ann Pierson in 1985 and became stepdad to her son, John(April). They enjoyed over 33 years together and shared the love of golf, traveling, watching sports and spending time together.He was blessed with grandchildren, Caroline, Jordan, Taylor, Kamryn,  Claire, Eddie, William, Evan and Austin and he loved them very much. Nieces and nephews include, Vanessa, Valerie, Shelley, Sean, Bobbi, Gina and Shannon, Adam, Christine, Tony, Mike, Mark, Matt, Bobby, Kevin and Patrick  as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews.Ron was a kind man who was always willing to help his family and friends. He was very proud of all of his children and his stepson.  His giving and loving heart was strong, even to the end when COPD and Alzheimer’s took over his life. His dear heart stopped on January 31, 2019 with his wife Ann near him. He  was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be at Holy Cross Church 9371 Wigham St. Thornton, on February 6 at 10:30 a.m. with a light lunch reception following in Ave Maria Hall at the church.In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alz.org for Alzheimer’s research.
