Obituary for Rose Marie Menard
Rose Marie Menard passed away on May 23, 2013 in Denver, Colorado. She was born on February 18, 1945 in Oxford, Nebraska. Rose was retired from a long career with Denver Burglar Alarm and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and going for mountain drives with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Leora Eman of Oxford, her husband David Sampson of Thornton, Colorado and her first husband Mike Miller of Commerce City, Colorado. Rose will be fondly remembered by her daughters Lee (Larry) Brown of Manassas, Virginia, Nancy (Jim) Dolson of Thornton, Veronica Menard of Denver, her father Ron Menard, and by her grandchildren D.J. and Shelby Dolson of Thornton. She will be missed by her sisters Virginia Eman-Wheeless of Denton, Texas and Thelma Bushnell of Oxford; by her brothers Frank Eman of Lincoln, Nebraska, Paul Eman of Denton, and John Eman of Lincoln and by her beloved nieces Jennifer Bushnell and her children Madison and Elias; Christina Harris and her children Gracie, CJaye, and Tucker; and Sherry Eman and her son Robert; as well as many extended family and friends. The family suggests that donations be made to the Denver Hospice at denverhospice.org or (303) 321-2828. Memorial Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2013, at DeWitt and Tabler Funeral Home, 12114 Grant Circle, Thornton, Colorado. A reception will follow services.
