Obituary for Ruby Anne Holman
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Holman. Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022.
Anne was born to Arden and Juanita "Pauline" Hamrick on April 13th, 1943, in Memphis, Tennessee. Anne spent most of her younger years between Greenville, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Sacramento, California. At 17, Anne made Denver, Colorado, her home where she married and started her family. Although her first marriage didn't last, she found her soulmate John, and they were married on February 28th, 1975.
Anne loved crocheting, reading, sewing, quilting, knitting, watching movies and crime shows, and playing games. She especially loved playing Spinners and Bingo.
Anne worked hard to become knowledgeable in the medical field. Early on, she worked in nursing homes and later became an expert in managing doctors’ offices.
Anne was immensely proud of her family - she adored them and cherished every moment with them.
Anne was preceded in death by her brothers Danny Mason and Glen Hamrick; her son-in-law Charlie Childerston and her grandson Cody Childerston.
Anne is survived by her husband John Holman; her children Troy Campbell (Romana), Dean'na Lanford (Richard), Glenda Childerston, Amie Kite; her sisters Carolyn Wilson (Bill), Dwon Blevins (Glendal), Renee Chipres (Ron); her brothers Jimmy Hamrick (Bonnie), Dean Mason (Denise), Dale Mason (Karen); her grandchildren Ashleigh Lanford, Timothy Campbell (Marci), Brittany Gross (Nico), Matthew Campbell (Lauren), Tyler Kite, Garrett Kite, Lexi Kite, Brooke Kite; her great grandchildren Riley & Jackson Campbell, Allison & Cheyenne Campbell, Ophelia Lanford: as well as many nieces and nephews.
