Obituary for Ryan Michael Acevedo
Ryan Acevedo, 29, of Thornton, went home to God on July 13th, 2013. He is adored by his mother, Debbie, his father Rick, his brother DJ, his Aunt Patti and Uncle Randy, as well as many other family members and friends. Ryan brought joy and lessons to all who knew him including his school friend, foxy Biz, his North Metro friends Amy, Todd, Baldy Robert, Carrie, his North Suburban and Children's Hospital docs and nurses, Dr. Reynolds and all other medical providers. Ryan will continue to teach us all, through his contributions to Fragile X research. Ryan was an enthusiastic fan of all animals, especially sea animals, and Jim, the silverback gorilla at the zoo. He also loved Thomas the Train, Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, lego men, balloons, train sets and his abundance of key chains. Ryan lived every day with absolute joy. He shared this joy as freely as his hugs, and spread a great deal of love in his short life. Ryan's mom held him through his train journey from beginning to end.
