Obituary for Timothy Paul Wright
Timothy (Tim) Paul wright, 66, of Thornton, Colorado passed away Sunday, May 10th, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on April 28, 1949, the first of three children of Delbert Paul Wright and Lorraine Marie Edgell. Tim is survived by his wife Iris and his children Timothy Wright of Tennessee; Deanna (James) O’Malley-Keeney of Colorado; Jamie (Marlo) Wright of Colorado; five grandchildren; and a sister Susie (J) Stapleton of Indiana; and Steve (Norma) Wright of Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father Delbert Paul Wright and his mother Lorraine Marie Edgell. Tim graduated from Highland High School, Anderson, Indiana, Class of 1967. Shortly after his graduation he was inducted into the U.S. Army where he served over 20 years and retired in September 1989. He was a Vietnam War Veteran where his bravery earned him the Purple Heart for wounds incurred during combat. Tim worked in the law enforcement field for the next 25 years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; all types of sports; Bingo, and taking his chance at the Colorado Lottery.
