Obituary for Barbara MyrnaJune Dolson
Barbara Myrna June “Myrna” Dolson, 74, of Thornton passed away on June 30, 2012. She was born on June 20, 1938 to John and Katharine May in Denver. Myrna was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Myrna was preceded in death by her sister Myra Phillips of Bailey. Myrna is survived by her daughter Ronda Bivins of Lakewood, her son James (Nancy) Dolson of Thornton, and their father Gene Dolson; her grandchildren Matthew Bivins, David “D.J.” Dolson, and Shelby Dolson of Thornton; her brothers Marvin James May of Westminster and Martin John May of Thornton; many nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family suggests that donations be made to the Denver Hospice at denverhospice.org or (303) 321-2828 or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or (800) 227-2345. A memorial service followed by a luncheon will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham Street in Thornton.
