Obituary for Rose Mary Chavira
Rose Mary Chavira age 57 passed away Friday, August 16th in a Denver hospital. She was born June 26, 1956 in Denver. Rose was a graduate of Highland High School and Front Range Community College. She taught preschool for many years. Rose was married to Eusebio Chavira December 10, 1977. She cherished caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed knitting and crafts. Rose is survived by her husband, children Antonio “Tony” (Buffy) Garrier, Rachal Garrier and partner Randy Garza and Eusebio “Chito” Chavira Jr. and partner Veronica Gurrola, all of Thornton, grandchildren Xavier and Chloe Garrier, Demarco Garcia, Unique Roybal, Alejandro, Silvia, Yarely, Christina, Brianna, Brian, Anthony and Kathya Chavira and Randy “Sam” Garza Jr., father Gary Garrier, siblings Rhonda Garza, Linda Garrier and Pauline, Daniel and Melanie Martinez. She was preceded in death by her mother Juanita Martinez, step-father Don Martinez, and brother Donald “Duck” Martinez Jr. Rosary will be 4PM Sunday, August 25th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham Street, Thornton, CO. Funeral Mass will be 10AM Monday, August 26th at the church. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Thornton, CO.
